Serving thousands of miles away from their home and loved ones is tough. To lift the spirits of our young men and women overseas, we've created this messageboard so that the troops can read your messages of support.

Dear Heroes My 11 year old daughter is venturing into the big wide world of High School this year and Carly, bought home her school work for the past year. I came across the following which warmed my heart and I thought of you! Our thoughts and love are with you and I hope that what Carly has written warms your heart as it did mine -x- The Poppy Rememberance The field full of poppies Is where my cross lie While the poppies grow Sadly people die Remember that im with you In this poppy field Day ago I was in war Fighting with my life Ive been through alot My tears running down my face You have got to remember me I need hope just in case I hope I\'m always around In these poppies in the ground This field is quiet there is not a sound Please be with me in the poppies in the ground As young as 11 and you are not forgotten. I hope Carlys words of love show you how much we care and remember. Tina Mcloughlin (I will tell Carly I did this in the morning and she will be having words with me -x-)

It brings me to tears when ever I think I of the bravery, courage and strentgh of the men and women over the years who have worked to defend this country. I feel so strongly about Rememerence day and insist my children stop for at least one of the two minute silences (they are usually at school for the other). If we cannot stop for two minutes out of a year to show our respect then it is a sad society. I have had most of my family in the armed forces and continue to show my respect and thanks by carrying on the tradition of poppy day. You guys out there and at home in the form of the emergency services as well as the armed forces are AMAZING! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. Gods speed and angels wings surround you to bring you home safe xxxx
